Effective Action brings the gospel to change hearts and regions. We believe the gospel has hands and we use ours not just to pray, but to install clean water and build homes.
● Why we go
Some places have never heard the name of Jesus. We go there. We preach in open fields and crowded streets, pray with people one at a time, and leave clean water behind. Then we come home and tell you what God did. *We can't keep that hope to ourselves.*

New Karachi · Christmas Peace & Joy FestivalFamilies filled the grounds after dark for the Christmas Peace & Joy Festival. The gospel was preached, and the prayer line went on long after the sermon.
Karachi · Street ministryBetween meetings the team took the message to the streets of Karachi, with a local brother translating every line.

We visited villages of families who were once trapped working off debts in brick kilns. A local ministry pays those debts, buys land and helps each family build a home.

We installed a clean water pump and hung mosquito nets so the kids can sleep peacefully at night.
The trip ended where every trip hopes to end: new believers going under the water and coming up shouting.

A metal worker who had been blind ever since a work accident was healed and received his sight.
An elderly man who could not walk without crutches was healed and walked without them. The swelling and weakness in his feet were gone too.
A woman who had lived with severe knee pain for a year was completely healed.
A government official with years of arm pain, unable to lift his hand, was completely healed.
An elderly woman injured in an accident, with stitches in her head and in severe pain, was completely healed.
A child who hadn't eaten in three weeks was healed, shouted "I'm hungry, give me some food!" and ate a full meal.
Two women were delivered from demonic possession.
A man with a ten-month infection gave his life to Jesus and was completely healed.
A 13-year-old boy with asthma was completely healed.
A man with eight years of leg pain was completely healed.
● Christmas crusade · New Karachi
She pushed through the crowd with her baby boy in her arms. He was screaming and twisting, and nothing she did could calm him. Something was tormenting this child, and his mother knew it.
We laid hands on him and prayed one thing: that he would be tormented no more.
Look at his face. The screaming stopped, and he started laughing in his mother's arms. You can see the deliverance happen.

Many families in Pakistan are trapped for generations working off debts in brick kilns. The ministry we serve alongside pays those debts, moves families onto land of their own and builds them homes. Our team brings the gospel, clean water and a reason to celebrate.
